Wheat | Rye | Spelt | Purple Wheat | Khorasan
All these flours are suitable for making the Sourdough Starter.
However for the body of bread dough, Spelt and Khorasan make a stronger dough.
The roles of full bodied flours like this is to:
- Start and maintain your starter
- Provide flavour and body to a quality white flour
- Let the Ancient Grain speak for itself with 100% wholegrain flour bread
- Add fibre and more digestible proteins to bread
- Make a LOW FODMAP bread.
